A Strange Plant

Now that I have a little time after supper, and before going to bed, I am going to write about what happened this morning. It was amazing!! I haven't been able to have time in the computer this afternoon, because, as we have had the morning out, it was time to study during the afternoon!! And anyway, even if I stopped working at such hour, some other member of the family was on it! (And NOT that we have a small family! =]) Besides, I also worked on my music, and on my "Little Corner". I have a busy life!!!
Anyway, Mummy had to take the car to the mechanic, and since Papa was working, we couldn't get back by car. So we took a short cut across the beautiful countryside, and walked. We walked and walked.
We did a "Pine-cone" hunt. Each year we have to use our woodstove, and to start it Mummy uses pinecones. So when we passed by a nice, pine forest, we searched everywhere. We filled two bags, and we still missed some! Mama decided to do that every Wednesday. Wasn't that fun!!
OK, I'm getting to the "Strange Plant" part!! =)
There is a sort of farm just before the pine forest, and we normally pass by it teasing the little, friendly dog that lives there (err... Should I really say "FRIENDLY"?!?!). Mama was a way before us (my little brothers, well, not SO little, and I), and she quickened us so to get to the Pine Forest. Then I saw the Strange Plant.
It was very strange, and the first time I ever saw it. It had triangular leaves, all fluffy (the "fluff" staged), and out of them popped long stalk. At the end of the stalk was the "fruit". It was round. It was fluffy too.
OK, I KNOW, I only discovered the plant, my (let's just say younger) brother did the rest!!
I called Mummy and the others, and Al came running. He just looked at the plant, and touched the "fruit" gently with a stick. Here comes the strange part.
I say, isn't this story getting long!!
Well, when Al touched the "fruit", it just... Well, I don't know! It splashed some sort of liquid, and was sent miles away!! Even thou we looked and looked for the "fruit", it had completely banished!! Wasn't that strange! Mum tried the same, and it just happened as well. Splash!!
I that had been looking for a stick that Al, just teasing, had thrown in some bushes went there, attracted by their exclamations. And what do you think I did????????? I THOUCHED THAT THING WITH MY OWN HAND!!!!!
Thankfully, I touched it so little that nothing happened. But the question is:

WHAT WAS THAT PLANT?!?!?!

Playing "Football" at the Table

Can you imagine anybody playing "football" during supper time? Well, knowing our crazy family, you can imagine ANYTHING!!!
There was this lid on the table, a round, purple-lilac-violet-fuchsia lid (my, how many colours a lid can have!! =]), and suddenly my big brother gave it a "kick", and passed it to me. I just stopped it in time. I passed it to Bro, and he stopped it too. Then he gave a quick "kick", and... Goal!!! Humph!! Of course it was easyfor him, because I was at the end of the table, but it was very difficult for me (in fact, almost impossible), because he sat on the middle of the tabe, and I could't make the "ball" fall with him in the middle. Besides, his plate was in the middle too. So, "ball" here, "ball" there, (with two or three "goals" in the middle). When the "ball" fell his side, he said that was "out", not "goal". My, wasn't that funny!! At last, Mummy said stop, but it had been fun anyway... ;)

New Boots!!!!

Mummy bought new boots for me today!!
My old ones were nice, but they pressed a bit my toe (incredible, but my feet are actually still growing!!! ;[ ), so we went to town and bought new ones. They are so, so wonderful!! I am very proud of them. They are ver fashionable, and are great. I'm sorry that I can't post any photos, but this isn't the right computer. It doesn't allow it.
Anyway, if you see a gril wearing very cool dark brown boots, that will be me!!!

An Interesting Book

I finished reading a couple of days ago a very, very well written book. It took me four days. It's called "The Anubis Slayins", and it's soooooooo well written. If ever Mr. Paul Doherty (the author) reads this blog, which is most unlikely, I want him to know that I admire his way of writing. I really enjoyed reading that book!!!!!

I HATE MANDARINS!!!

… But they are soooooooooo delicious… ;()
Mummy bought a huge bag of mandarins yesterday, and we had some for supper. I just love them!!! But…
Oh, dear, the peel is so, so, so, annoying!! I mean, I can peal it, and even make an umbrella with the top for my bros, but…
If you double it, the little bubbles of juice in the peel pop, and…
It gets straight into your eyes!!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh, it hurts sooo much! ;() My eye began to cry. I wasn’t crying, but the eye was crying. I mean, it was crying by itself… err…
Well, anyway, you can understand it this way: I love mandarins, but I hate its peel!!!!

Albert Einstein's Quotations

"Only two things are infinite, the universe and human stupidity, and I'm not sure about the former."

"Gravitation can not be held responsible for people falling in love"

"The most incomprehensible thing about the universe is that it is comprehensible."

"A table, a chair, a bowl of fruit and a violin; what else does a man need to be happy."

"Not everything that counts can be counted, and not everything that can be counted counts."

"If A equals success, then the formula is: A=X+Y+Z. X is work. Y is play. Z is keep your mouth shut."

"Things should be made as simple as possible, but not any simpler."

When asked how World War III would be fought, Einstein replied that he didn't know. But he knew how World War IV would be fought: With sticks and stones!
