Mantis swim!
Yesterday afternoon my Mummy called me to see a HUGE mantis. It was about eight cm long, that's about three inches, a little more. It was hiding under the entrance sideboard, and our jaws dropped to see how HUGE it was. :P
This morning my Mummy called me and everybody again out to the entrance... where the turtle pool is. In the middle of it there's a rock for the turtle to be and have a "sun bath" whenever she wants. And happy as a May bee, in the middle of the water, on the rock, was the mantis, busily washing her face (we knew it was a "she" because "he" mantis are smaller). Now, the question was, HOW ON EARTH DID SHE GET ON THE ROCK????
Soon we had our answer. The mantis got into the water, AND BEGAN TO SWIM!!!! Would you ever say it, a mantis SWIMMING! We were all amazed. It was swimming with her back legs, and the two front ones. It was really surprising to see that!

In Gualadajara...
Well, here it is, as I said...
We had a wonderful weather those two days we were out, and it was a real blessing. Our reason to go was to meet some Christian friends my Papa met once there, which we hadn't met.
We woke up at seven in the morning Friday morning, and quickly prepared ourselves for the trip. We didn't even have our breakfast at home, we would have it in the car, to save time.
But things not quite always come out the way they are planned. We planned to leave at eight, so we could get to our friends' house ready for lunch, but when we were all in the car and ready to go, we discovered that my little brother's security belt was damaged. At first we thought that we would have to cancel our outing, but God is merciful, and after an hour or so, and much praying and being nervous, Papa finally fixed it, and (whew!!), we were on our way, thankfully.
We did see some of the wonderful creations of God. We saw a tremendous lot of HUGE eagles, we saw big and endless, huge mountains surrounding them, we saw... but I am getting ahead. Let us continue our tale.
We DIDN'T get there in time for lunch. When we arrived at Sigüenza, where we were to stay, it was past four o'clock pm, and we were all starving hungry. First we went to take our place at the hostal, leave our bags and the stuff we didn't need, and THEN came the best part, when we met our friends at their house. I was nervous, don't ask me why... but they are a lovely family, and I love them very much already. They are Felix and Sandra, and their son, Joel, and teir daughter Marylin.
We had a very nice time, and while we ate our lunch (huh, late-lunch) we talked together and joked and laughed.
Later in the afternoon they took us to see the very old but very big Sigüenza Castle. Oh, it was beautiful, and it had such a view! Mary and I were fast friends, and she took me to see the village a little, and to buy sweets. After that, when it began to get dark, we went home and she showed me her bedroom, and we talked together, mostly about stars... she likes stars very much, and so do I, so we had a nice chat about them. We just spent all the evening there, and when it was time to go we went back to where the hostal was.
After that we had to have some supper, so Papa, my older bro and I went somewhere to buy sandwiches. It was fun to eat in a place that wasn’t ours, and to sleep in a strange bed. Mummy called it a short adventure. It was FREEZING cold at night there (we were very high on a mountain), and my bed had five bedcovers to keep the cold out. :S But I tell you, it was fun, cold, and wow, didn’t I enjoy it!
When next morning we got up, it was still early, and I remembre dressing at the same time I shivered like crazy…
Then we went to have our breakfast at Mary’s house. Ohhhh, yummy! It was delicious. We didn’t have what we usually have here, it was so diffrent (all but the milk-and-chocolate drink… I can’t be parted from that!).
That day was mostly all walking and ejoying Trillo, a place where there were lots of waterfalls and old stone houses. I love old places. It makes me feel inspired, and I like it so much. I have lots of photographs of all the waterfalls, and the castles, and the old solid wood dors, beautifully carved… ahh, it was beautiful!
Then at lunch we went to a restaurant, where they did very good meat. I had such a huge and tasty piece of meat!! And a very big salad, with lots of tuna, olives, tomatoes, asparagus, eggs, and everything I could dream of. Oh, it was delicious!!
It was about half past five pm when we left the restaurant, and then came the good-byes, for we had to leave for home. I had had a wonderful time!
During our way we stopped mny times to see something that looked interesting. My sister and I had a very funny time trying to see who did the biggest chewing-gum “baloon”, and when we stopped to see the river Tajo I took some wonderful photos of the view. Since it is autumn, the place near the river was FULL with falling leaves, and yellow, orange and red trees. I took the advantage to collect all the autumn leaves I could… It was so pretty! Sometimes I don’t know how to descrive such beauty, and I really think that God’s creation is awsome! “The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth His handywork.” Psalms 19:01
We actually got home at half past twelve am, but it was all an adventure! I hope we can repeat it again, and that I can see them again soon… :P

We're Almost There...
...and tomorrow we are going to Gualadajara!
Oh, I'm so exited. We are going there for only two days, but I'll meet for the first time a friend I have, and we'll be staying in a hostal, and we are going to visit a huuuuge castle... AND I'LL KEEP YOU UPDATED! :D
Next Monday I'll post a post about it, if I can...

An Inspiration
When you read this welcome, I hope you really feel like you're welcomed to read this blog. Really, I had an inspiration.
At first, when I began my blog last year, almost nobody commented, or viewed my blog. Now, I see that more and more people each day come here to take a look, and I'm thankful for all your wonderful thoughts and comments. So I wanted to thank you, and say you are all very much welcomed to be here... you are a blessing!

Music
Yesterday afternoon I had two wonderful hours to enjoy the wonderful thing called "MUSIC".
This year my parents have decided to let me go to Music Theory Lessons, along with Musical Ensamble Lessons! Last year I only took Flute Lessons, but this year I'm happy to say that I'm going to the other two!
Yesterday was my first day of lessons, and I had a wonderful time with new friends. I already knew two or three, but most of them were unknown to me. And we had so much fun! Especially during Musical Ensamble Lessons... people there are very friendly and fun to be with, and we laughed, joked, and whenever we could, played together!
I feel so blessed... I'm so happy!
This afternoon I have Flute Lessons. I am looking forward to seeing my flute teacher again, and to enjoy her joyful laugh. We're good friends, Laura and I. :D

Kalina and Dalina the Leeks
Kalina and Dalina the Leeks are twins. Let us start by Kalina.
Kalina uses lipstick, and she likes to have her hair (leaves) in a pony tail, with a red bow. She doesn’t like dresses, but always wears a skirt and a T-shirt with a pink bee printed on it.
Kalina usually dislikes jewlery but she has a beautiful necklace which her boyfriend gave her that she always has on. She likes dancing and country music, she likes studying physics but hates Maths and Languages, and is very bad at singing and at taking care of children.
Dalina always wears cowboy jeans and boots, and a sky-blue-and-sun-yellow stripped blouse. Her hair (leaves) is always loose, even when it’s very windy or very hot. She hates cosmetics but paints her nails white with chalk. She has two rings from her grandmother, is boyfriendless and LOVES to sing and play harp. Dalina likes to yoodle like they do in the Alps, and opera. She is good at Biology and Languages, but is like her sister (NO, I’m not! She’s like me!) in Maths. She keeps mice for pets, and enjoys babysitting.
Don’t ask me… I was told to write an essay about “Character Development” and to “choose a vegetable and create a character from it”, and to “be as silly as you like!”. So I did this up…

Psalms 125:1-2
They that TRUST in the Lord shall be as MOUNT ZION which cannot be REMOVED, but abideth FOR EVER.
As the mountains are round about Jerusalem, so the Lord is round about HIS PEOPLE from henceforth even FOR EVER.
These two verses have always been a blessing to me. Whenever my mind was troubled about something, or I was worried, I just had to think about these two verses, and I was comforted. The Lord is around us FOR EVER! How wonderful is His word, how wonderful He is!!

11!
Today is my darling brother's birthday!!
He's now a big boy of eleven, so handsome, and almost as tall as me!! :S That is something I don't like very much... :D
Well, here go 11 funny/unknown/random facts about him!
1. He's my brother! (Weren't they supposed to be random or funny, or unknown? But I HAD to say so, I'm so proud of it!!)
2. He is exactly three years, four months, seventeen days and ten hours younger than me.
3. He loves biking.
4. He likes Tom and Jerry.
5. He was born at twenty past two p.m. (can you guess what hour I was born, by this?).
6. He starts laughin while he explains jokes, before he finishes them!! :D
7. He loves reading adventure books.
8. He's lived in three diffrent houses.
9. He has melting brown eyes.
10. He knows how to imitate very well Lola Bunny, Bugs Bunny's "girl friend".

New Post!!
Well, my dear readers, here I am.
I haven't been posting lately (and I DO have a good enough reason! ;]) because school started Wednesday last week, and with that, music, helping Mama around the house and everything, there wasn't much time to spend on my blog... :(
Well, but here I am.
So far I am enjoying my 9th grade, I find it very interesting. Specially Biology... I just LOVE Biology, and to learn new things about God's creation... really, the more I learn the more amazed I am! I am studying about cells, and am enjoying it inmensly.
Social Studies, Math, Language (English, Spanish and Catalan, maybe including French in the future, :]), Nature Studies, Technology, Writin, and something more I'm SURE I'm forgetting include my studies this year. Oh, yeah, I was forgetting Physics!! That's what I'm going to study this year, and I'm sure I'm going to enjoy it...
These are all the news for now! Love to everybody!

Two Books
I have lately read two books that really had an impact on me.
The first one was “The Persecutor”, also known as “Forgive Me, Natasha” (the old version). Written by Sergei Kourdakov, a strong Comunnist since a young age, and later a persecutor of the Christian faith. He did his job well, too. Christian people suffered very much under his hand. But mostly, this books shows God’s love, forgiveness and mercy towards sinners… after saving him with a miracle (he was escaping from Russia, and had to swim in a terrible storm from a boat to Canadian coasts. He spent five hours in the freezing water, and survived!), Sergei converted to Christianity. I wept while reading this book.
Sergei was killed at the day he turned twenty-two… on his birthday.
The second book was about a missionary called Gladys Aylward. This book also is a beautiful book about God’s wonderful care to His people. Gladys went to China, and did great things. She worked faithfully, keeping her faith in the Lord, and lived through the Japanese war. She saved hundreds of orphan children, and helped wherever she went. She became a great friend of the Mandrin who ruled where she lived, and also helped to destroy the law of bounding feet of all women and girls. She did a great job in China, and this books was one I enjoyed tremendously, and I was very amazed at how great a work she did!
I recommend these books to anyone who likes to read.

A New Experience
Today I did something I hadn't done before, not even helping. I bathed Machli!! Well, I hadn't bathed a dog in my life before, so it was quite new to me, and lots of fun!
I had to dress in the oldest clothes I had, and then I began to prepare the bath we have outside for things like this. I filled it with water from the hose, and took the collar off Machli. But it wasn’t all that easy... somehow, Machli hates water, and when she saw that I was filling the bath she escaped! So, I had to chase her, and pick her up so she wouldn’t run away.
So I got the hose, and placed Machli IN the bath. Once in there, she was a good dog, and didn’t run away. I wet her all over, and then I got the special shampoo on her. I scrubbed, and scrubbed, and rubbed all over her body, carefully, though, because I was scared I would hurt her. Machli got cold, and began to tremble, so then I rinsed her, and with a towel I rubbed her again dry, and she stopped trembling.
Then came the brushing. Once she was quite dry, I brushed her all over, and right now she looks white and brown, and quite pretty!
It was fun to bathe her, and I’m waiting for the next time!
Now we’re going for a walk to pick blackberries, so if I can, I’ll tell you about it when we come back.

Six!
Last 24th August my younger brother turned six! This post is going to try and show a little of how much I love him... he is the cutest six-year.old in the world, and I love him dearly! I thank God so much for givin him to me as a brother!
Some little known facts about him...

I'm Back!
Back from Madrid, back to blogworld!
Dear me, so much to say. I am really sorry for all of you who have been checking my blog frequently. I’m sorry I haven’t been able to update untill now, and I’m sorry, I’m really very sorry.
My summer has been extremely full and packed with visits, company, going-outs, and well... I havent had time to do much but to be with my friends and help around! But anyway, here I am again!
A quick list of what I’ve been up to:
During the two middle weeks of July a friend of ours came to spend some days with us. We went to the swimming pool, mostly, and played around the house. We used to played UNO all the time.
During the last week of July one of my greatests friends came to visit me for four days, and later I went to her house for three days. We went to the swimming pool and had a cool time together, but most of all... AHH!! We played music. I’m surprised we didn’t start a terrible catastrophy...! *grin* Sonia played the violin or the recorder, and I played the flute or the recorder. We had great fun together, she is a great musician (taller than me and two years younger than me!!). We stayed talking untill late at night, and it was thanks to that that one afternoon I collapsed and fainted! (for the first time in my life). But we had great fun. She is a wonderful girl, full of life and fun!
Then she went away. Some days later my friend Andrea from Madrid came over here. She came all alone for a week. We did everything we could do, talk untill late at night again, play UNO together, run, walk, go to the swimming pool...
Thursday that week Sonia came with her two brothers to spend a day with all of us, and left a very special treat behind. They are on holiday, and had avery cute dog with them! So I convinced my parents to take care of Machli for a month, and we have her with us! She is the cutest little dog in the world.
Then Saturday that week Andrea’s parents, brothers and two cousins came here to spend another week with us! Wow, didn’t we have fun! We went to the swimming pool, to the beach, we played UNO, we played music, we took Machli for lost of tiring and hot walks, and wow, I don’t know what more!
After a week they went away, but the fun for me wasn’t still over. I went with them to Madrid!! Over there we had so much fun! We went bowling, to the swimming pool, we played snooker together, I met new friends, we walked around Madrid, bought cards, ice creams, we went to parks, to amusement parks (boy, wasn’t that fun! It was really cool, and we really got wet in the water games), we went to restaurants, and an endless list of fun and good times with wonderful friends! Andrea and I have a pair of lovely blue shoes each, I have new clothes Andrea’s mother insisted on buying, and wow... I don’t know how to explain it!
God has really blessed me this summer, and I’ve had so much fun!
