Misc Of Pics

Hello, everyone! [smile]
I was just browsing around my memory card, which is full, by the way, and thought I would share these pictures with you. I know some are random, silly or really without any kind of sense, but I hope you don't mind... [wink]

I know... this one is scary. But I really like it!

Just some roses our neighbour gave us girls...

The beauty of a Roman construction... ah, I really enjoy those visits!

Okay, so far this one is my favourite! Being silly with my sister, and playing our tin whistles. My Papa took this picture, and I think it's hilarious.

Ladybird! I was delighted to discover the first ladybird this Spring, and while taking pictures of it I discovered there was tons of them! So there is more coming...

Fluffiness... I just love these weeds. I think they are so... well, fluffy.

So we knew who the culprit was... [grin]

Super random, I know... I think a friend took it by surprise, and I like it... :P

Picturesque Spot

Spending time with my best friend, and taking walks, we ended up at this place... it was empty and solitary. As usual I had my camera with me, so I started experimenting. I liked how this picture came out.

Gracias, S., para posar. ^^

Secondary School Graduate

I still can't believe it. I'm actually finished with Secondary School! I was talking to a friend a couple of days ago, and told her how happy I was the finals were over. Then she asked me, "How does it feel to be a Secondary School Graduate?"
The thought struck me like a slap.

I am a Secondary School Graduate.

It feels both great and awful. I sometimes think now how I would like to be that little girl in pigtails and frilly dresses that used to run around and talk to everyone. I am growing up, I am actually turning into a young lady. Yikes!!!

A couple of weeks ago, I so wanted to be over with everything and start vacations. I thought about summer, warmth, free time, etc., but as the day grew closer I became aware of something. School has turned out to be such an important part of my life!!
Most importantly, I learnt things, but I have such great friends and teachers over there, and so many lovely memories. I had an awesome time with them, and I miss them already.
And now it's over. I'll be starting college next year. Many of my class mates will be gone and it won't be the same. I just feel kind of... empty. Things change as time passes by, I know... but... I sometimes don't like change.
I want to thank all those people that made this school year so awesome.

How do you feel when you've been studying History the whole day and you've only managed to learn one page?

FUSTRATED

Dóna'm El Silenci

Quan torni, voldria veure mil camps
esquitxats de pipiripís, voldria
sentir sang de primavera cantar
al negre de nit i al blau de dia;
però, sobretot, dóna'm el silenci
tranquil i pacient dels rengles de vinya,
dels lliris de cabana sobre els murs
i de la promesa verda del fruit.

Quan torni, voldria tenir els murmuris
del Sol enfonsant-se al mar, i voldria
pintar els dibuixos de l'escuma blanca
i el braç etern del far quan respira;
però, sobretot, dóna'm el silenci
de l'horitzó quan recull els estels
i el silenci de la llum que salta
entre la Lluna i el seu reflex.

Quan torni, voldria veure sis cares
plenes de somriures als ulls, voldria
la música d'abraçades, petons,
oasi d'acolliment i alegria;
però, sobretot, dóna'm el silenci
d'abans i de després de la pregària,
el silenci d'entre cançons, silenci
despert de pau, vida i estimar.

Saying Goodbye To 15

As my best friend said, yes, I'm saying goodbye to my 15's.
It's hard to believe I'm going to turn 16 in a few hours. But, as hard as it may be, it's the truth. And as usual, I'm wondering and thinking about this new year to come. What will it bring? What will it teach me? What will happen? What?
It's been a "tradition" to write a thoughtful post the day before my birthday, analysing the past year with all the details. So here it goes...
This year, the fifteenth year, has been a very special one, with plenty of unexpected but yet awesome changes and results. God's plans for my life continue to surprise me as I go on living. For instance, my going back to school. I know I've talked about this a lot, but it was such a shock for me at first that it is going to remain in my memory for the rest of my life.
The way I started my summer was so unexpected too that I couldn't really believe it at first. It did have an impact in my life too that was pretty strong, and I am still wondering why ever did that happen in the first place.
I have had the opportunity to meet plenty of wonderful new people this year, more than on the fourteenth year, or any other year, at that. I have learnt to overcome my shyness - wink - and feel at ease around people I don't know at all. I have developed a confidence I couldn't imagine in me. I have also developed a taste for culture in general, and things I used to consider boring at first, such as reading poetry or studying History, are enjoyable now. When I woke up on the 4th May 2008 I couldn't imagine that 364 days later I would have grown so much.
These are just a few examples. A lot of other things have happened this year, and everything has been a new experience, but it wouldn't have been what it has without all the people that love me and are always there for me. To my family, to my friends, to my school chums, to my teachers, to my fellow bloggers, to everybody I know... thank you. You have contributed in some way or other to make this year special, and all I can say is thank you, because there is no other way to express it.
And I pray that this year will too be a blessed one. That I may continue growing in every way. I am such a happy girl, and I'm thankful for that. It's a true blessing to be able to feel happy.

I'm going to be sixteen...

And So...

I'm going to be sixteen... in four days!
This year has sped by me so quickly... it's incredible how time flies as you get older.
Fifteen has been an awesome age in which I have learnt a lot, I would even say a lot more than other years! And so I pray that Sixteen will be another wonderful year...
Sweet Sixteen^^

Wet!

I was able to take these pictures on mid-Sunday. It had been storming for some hours, and then, quite out of the blue, the sun started to shine, and when I got the chance I went outside to take a few snaps.

This last one is my favourite. I just love the way the three little pearls of water shine in the sunlight!

The Many Faces Of A Cat

More of him... nothing to say, really, he's just a real pest when I happen to have my camera around, so the pictures are taken of him!

Total indifference...

Dumb, Lazy And Comfortable

This is Catacomb.

Nah, don't worry, that's just one of my many nicknames for him. But doesn't he look dumb and lazy?

Dumb, lazy, and comfortable.

Didn't I tell ya?? I was studying outside, doing some homework, and one time I got up to do something I don't remember, well, I came back, and this is how I found the 3S's

Nay, but I love him...

I love him... in spite of this. I was concentrated in studying my Catalan, so I wasn't paying any attention to him, and when I do that he gets mad, and consequently, I got bitten today. Nasty thing...

But he's cute.^^
