A Little Walk In The Middle Of Nowhere

More Autumn for you all!
These are the pictures I took two weeks ago - it was still Autumn - and thought I would share them with you. I must have been in the mood for photographing, because most of the pictures I used to take of something usually came out horrible and the ones I took that day came out quite nicely - to my taste.
It was a very cold day, and my nose turned red very quickly. Thankfully I was wearing lots of warm clothes and my new scarf and hat, so I didn't suffer that much.

This cat was extremely fat, and I just couldn't help to take a picture of it. It looks so happy and contented in the picture.

This dog kept following us around; we named him Jack

This is my favourite picture of all of them. I don't really know how I took it, what kind of button I pressed... what do you think of it?

This is another "surprise" picture, a picture that came out nice enough to my taste accidentally. Though the forest is all dark, I just love the way the sky looks. The clouds were the exact same colour in real life.

Nmutua

That is Autumn written the wrong way around. But I like it.
Autumn is in the air! It's been for ages, actually, but I've been saving some pictures I took, about autumny things, to post here on the blog.
We took a walk around where we live one day, and it was so lovely! I used to complain that it doesn't get very red where we live because the kind of trees around here don't loose their leaves, but there is a little bit of red.
Here it goes! =)

Collective class punishments.

Six people I tag:

It Came And It Passed

Unnoticed.

But it happened. On the 23rd of November 2006, a very nervous Gem started a blog, thinking, "What if people don't like it?". Yeah, I thought that. But I'm happy to say that some people do like it, and still visit it often, even though I haven't been a good enough blog-keeper quite lately.

But it did happen.

It was my blog's birthday on the 23rd of November.
My blog is two years old!

I hope the third year will be as good as the ones that came before it, and that my blog will be a source of entertainment to all my family and friends!
If you feel curious to see what happened around my blog during the first month, click here.

Apologies

I never thought school exams could take me away from my blog... but they have.
And I'm sorry. I've been wanting to update my blog for some time, thinking, "I hope I get some time today to write on my blog!" but it hasn't been possible till now. Oh well, the most important exams are behind me (for those who may be interested, I got a 9'5 in Maths and a 9 in Physics), and now I have some time to relax before a wonderful almost-three-weeks-long holiday!

YAY!

A little update about my life:
I'm wearing glasses! Yes, I became aware during the school start that "CHOKE! I can't see the blackboard!", and I was sitting in first row. Ouch. So yeah, now I look like I looked like before, but with glasses as well. =)
I've started my flute lessons once more! Although I haven't been able to practice as diligently as I used to, because I started in middle of November and by that time I was already preparing for my end-term exams, I'm pleased that I'm able to take lessons again.

And maybe you would like to know, what has happened to the famous kittens, Nuba, Aluya and Scotty? Well, we still have Scotty, but the two females, Nuba and Aluya, were adopted by my best friend's family. I often get news about them (as many of you may know, Nuba was my darling, my kitty...) and well... Scotty is, to me, the 3 Sss... Silly Skitty Scotty!! They have all grown a lot, Aluya is very fat and Scotty is a male... I only wish you could see my hands: they have scratches and cuts all over.

And well, I will try and update my blog more often from now on. There aren't many pictures to post (I haven't been photographing very often lately), but I do have a post in mind that contains pictures. You will see.

Inspired By Raindrops

To hear the wind howling furiously outside in the garden, smell the faint scent of burnt wood, feel the warmth spreading in the house.
To see how your breath disappears in mist, hear the insistent patter of water drops on your hood, watch how little rivers form in the side walk, see the beautiful, golden, red scenery.
Walk under a tree and receive a rain of drops, transparent, tiny, crystal drops, feel the need of one more shirt, feel the soft tact of a scarf around your neck.

To Feel... Autumn!

Yes! Friends, fall is definitely here! It's been raining for the whole week so far. And even though I was wearing my winter pyjama, extra shirt, socks, leg warmers and slept with a thick duvet, I was cold last night.
Ah! How great it has been to wake up and smell the sweet smell of burnt wood coming from the downstairs fireplace in the living room.

It's great!

I tell you, rain inspires me... does this post show the opposite? :P

I Am Alive

Yes, indeed, I am alive.
I can't believe it. A month has passed without my writing a new post in my lovely blog! I can't believe it. This isn't possible.
But oh well... I guess I have been busy... and it has been worth it, friends, because out of ten, I got a 9.25 in Spanish and Physics, and a 9.50 in Biology! :D So yeah, I think it was worth it.
Besides, there hasn't been much interesting stuff going on, so I didn't have anything to say.
But I promise I will write something from time to time, and as soon as I have cool pictures and things to post, I will post them.
Because I love you all very much.^^

A Little History

Every new day is one I can rejoice in the Lord.

Even when I have to get up early and spend ten hours at school non-stop.

It's been about this this past week... just waking up, dressing, having breakfast, kissing Mummy and Papa goodbye, and off we go to an awful place called "High School"
At first it was dreadful, I got so depressed. But now I am thankful because it's teaching me a lot of things. The Lord is using it to teach me a lot of patience, and I am growing so close to Him thanks to school. I am also very much closer to my younger brother... we spend the whole lunch hour-and-a-half together.
And now I am studying hard, and cherishing the time with my family and friends more than ever! It was never so precious to me.

Thanks to everybody for your prayers! They have helped me a lot.

"I ascend unto my Father, and your Father; and to my God, and your God."
John 20:17

What privilege and joy it is that, through His grace, we are able to call Him our Father, our God!

Rainy Day

Hello, everyone!
I was just arranging and sorting out my photo CD's, when I stumbled on a folder with some pictures I thought maybe you would like.
They are from a walk we had around our neighbourhood, on a very rainy day around April or so. Mummy always likes to go for a walk when it rains.
So well, enjoy the photos!

A rose...

Pink flowers

What we call coconut flower. They smell like them.

These are called after rabbit ears. :)

A bunch of flowers.

A nice puddle...

A friendly gnome who didn't seem to mind the rain very much.

I like this white flower very much!

Some kind of daisy...

Introducing Scotty, Nuba And Aluya

Three new cats! There is no end to introductions, it seems!

Long story. Shall I make it shortish?

We have this friend from England who owns a house. She rents it to English holiday-ers. This summer some of those came to her house. We had a tremendous thunder storm. They had no power or light. Our friend phoned us from the airport via England, telling us. My parents went and helped them out.
Last Sunday they phoned us. We went. They explained. One of the girls had gone to throw away the trash. She had heard noises. They looked in there. They found five kittens in a bag, in another bag full of rubbish. Two dead, three hardly alive.

We decided to keep them! :D Two females and one male. Besides the fact that I have become a mother cat, and have to feed them every three hours, keep them warm, and plenty more things, I am enjoying them soooo much!

So enjoy the couple of photos I've uploaded... they are so sweet! ^^

The three kitties, sleeping peacefully. The happy one with its tummy in the air is a female, Aluya. The one on the far left is a male, Scotty, and the one in the middle, the one that isn't tigerish, and has two colours, is another female, which I named Nuba.

Aluya, sleeping, (lazy thing...)

Another lazy thing... Scotty on my brother's lap.

And last, but not least, my favourite, Nuba! I think she'll be mine... ;]

Well, how did you like my little kitties? (Proud meowing, purring voice of a human mother cat)

Pat The Pet Hamster

Introducing a new addition to our household.

Mr. Pat the Pet Hamster

My brother was given the hamster for his birthday. We are enjoying him very much, he's so soft and cuddly!
